Our great outdoors

Try to imagine yourself in a kiwi hot spring, or a banana forest. Oh, what about being in a castle lit by stars? Using my indoor limitations to my advantage, I stepped out of the ordinary landscape scenes to create worlds where anything can exist. Whether it’s cruising down Giant Corns Lane or exploring Banana forest, these ordinary objects coupled with mini-figures present a world that is so bizarre yet so enticing. However, more realistic scenes like the beach highlight my desire to reconnect with the real world. A more important aspect, the human interaction, is represented by the relationship between a man and a woman in my series. I believe that as human beings, we are programmed to connect and interact with other people; without it, life would be futile.

In our strive for normalcy, maybe it is time for a change; to accept new ideas and realities that could actually enrich our lives.
